Alltek Services has partnered with Eckerd, one of the nations largest nonprofit child and family service organizations, to take part in Project Bridge, a program designed to provide transitional services to youth ages 16 – 18 who are rejoining their home communities after spending time in juvenile justice residential commitment programs throughout Central and South Florida.
Alltek Services has provided IT support to VISTE for many years. VISTE is thrilled to partner with Alltek on this project, as it will be mutually beneficial to all parties involved. Alltek recently replaced 4 of VISTE’s old PC’s, as well as upgraded several of our current machines with more memory and processing speed. They also replaced VISTE’s outdated firewall. VISTE will donate the old devices to Alltek for the Project Bridge program.
Their team will be providing supervised computer internships to young adults through the program, in order to give them a second chance at life – an opportunity to learn to recycle and refurbish computers.
“Because of the help from Alltek, we were prepared to implement a new client management software system that we desperately needed,” said Steve Bissonnette, VISTE President. “This new system will allow us to better serve our clients, and allow our staff to work more efficiently. It’s a win-win for everyone!”
