Each year we honor and thank the more than 1,000 community volunteers that are the “heart” of everything we do. VISTE simply could not fulfill its mission without them! This event is held at First Presbyterian Church of Lakeland and includes a luncheon and awards ceremony. Approximately 275 volunteers of all ages attend.

Sponsorship Levels:
Event Sponsor – $2,500 / Lunch Sponsor - $1,500
Table/Vendor Sponsors - $250 each (4-5 tables available) Local agencies providing services to seniors are invited to sponsor a table and distribute information and goodie bags for the volunteers.

VISTE owes much of its success to strong and engaged Community Partners, including local corporations, civic and service groups, vendors, neighborhood and community groups, and churches. This event celebrates our 100+ Community Partners! While the event format may change, the goal is always the same – to publicly recognize and THANK our partners for their generosity of time, talent, and support. Sponsorship is a great way to get your brand in front of a distinguished group of engaged community leaders.

Volunteers pack and deliver boxes filled to the brim with essential personal care and household items, then deliver to 400 of VISTE’s at-risk seniors. Sponsors help cover the cost of much-needed items, bringing cheer and hope to a senior in need. VISTE also holds social media campaigns to promote the event, raise additional funds, and provide increased recognition for sponsors.

Volunteers pack and deliver 400 boxes filled to the brim with essential personal care and household items to VISTE’s at-risk seniors. Help cover the cost of much-needed items and bring cheer and hope to a senior in need. In honor of Veteran’s Day, many Holiday Personal Care Boxes include special gifts for our elderly veterans. VISTE also holds social media campaigns to promote the event, raise additional funds, and provide increased recognition for sponsors.

Day before Thanksgiving (25^th Annual will take place Wednesday, November 24, 2021)

VISTE’s Annual Thanksgiving Meal Delivery to 1,800 local seniors in need helps kick off the holiday season in Lakeland with a heartwarming, family-friendly event for all ages. Join VISTE and hundreds of community volunteers as we deliver Thanksgiving meals to local seniors in need. The entire community comes together to deliver a hot Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings. Local schoolchildren decorate tote bags, placemats, and cards to accompany each meal.
