VISTE recognizes the effort of every minute of every day that our volunteers
serve. They are critical to the mission of helping seniors live safely and independently in their own homes. Last April, we were especially grateful to be able to gather and celebrate the many services that VISTE volunteers provided, making a difference one client at a time.
The Royal Rangers was awarded the Jeffrey Perkins Youth Award.

Tripp and June Barnett were recognized as the Dr. Sam Clark Volunteers of the Year.

Gordon Cronk was awarded the Elfried Pennekamp Memorial Award.

Also congratulations to Nathan Calzat, recipient of the Jeffrey Perkins Youth Award.

Barbara Ready was awarded the Dr. Sam Cark Volunteer of the Year Award.

Laurel Kincart was awarded the Elfried Pennekamp Memorial Award.

Last year, Steve presented the President’s Award for exemplary service to Florida Southern College Guest Services, and First Presbyterian Church, Lakeland! These three community partners have been instrumental to VISTE’s hot meal program since its inception in 1999, and especially during the past two years their commitment was exceptional.
