Leadership Notes: Welcome Callie Neslund, New Board Chair

We are pleased to welcome Callie Neslund as VISTE’s new Board Chair! Callie is a longtime supporter of VISTE and has served on the Board since 2012, most recently as Vice Chair. She brings enthusiasm and a solid business approach to VISTE. Her vision for the organization includes a focus on strategic planning, staff development, new funding opportunities, and organizational sustainability, to help ensure that local at-risk seniors will continue to receive the essential services they need.

As Callie noted recently, “I hope we can continue to channel the passions and talent of Board members, our staff, our volunteers, and our supporters to take this organization where we need to go in the coming years. Because we know the need is great – and increasing – and the services we provide to our elderly neighbors can’t be provided more efficiently or with more heart than through our volunteers.”

Callie has been associated with The Mosaic Company since 2011, where she is currently Director of Public & Governmental Affairs. She also served as a Legislative Assistant for the Florida House of Representatives for several years. Callie holds a BS in Communications from Palm Beach Atlantic University and an MBA from the University of Florida. She is actively involved in numerous Lakeland-area organizations, including Lakeland Economic Development Council.

In her spare time, Callie enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, and two children – all of whom are huge UF Gator fans! Thank you, Callie, for all you do for VISTE!
