Ways to Get Involved

There are many opportunities for individuals, families, and community groups to participate in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving.

• Green Bean Snap: Family and children are invited to join this fun, hands-on activity preparing fresh green beans for the holiday meal.
• Operation Cranberry: Support our efforts by donating 14-ounce cans of jellied cranberry sauce.
• Decorating with Heart: Local students lend their creativity by decorating meal bags and placemats, adding a personal, heartfelt touch that brightens each senior’s holiday.

Every contribution, big or small, helps make this day truly special.

What Happens on Meal Delivery Day

On the morning the day before Thanksgiving, volunteers gather at the RP Funding Center to pack meals.

That afternoon, volunteer drivers utilize convenient drive-through lanes to pick up meals, poinsettias, and treats for delivery to grateful VISTE clients.

A Tradition Made Possible by You

Thanks to the generosity of our volunteers, donors, and partners, last year’s 29th Annual Thanksgiving Meal Delivery was a tremendous success, bringing joy and comfort to seniors throughout our community.
