Thank you for considering Planned Giving as a way to support the mission of VISTE, Volunteers in Service to the Elderly. Your donations make the difference!

The benefits of planned gifts are received at a later time, after your passing, thereby allowing you to retain control of assets during your lifetime. Planned gifts take many forms: providing additional income for you and/or your heirs, reducing income and estate taxes, relieving you and your heirs of complicated financial management responsibilities, and helping to fulfill your personal, humanitarian, and charitable objectives. Planned gifts can be made in cash, stocks, bonds, tangible personal property, life insurance, or real estate. Listed below are popular types of planned gifts.

Fulfill Your Personal, Humanitarian, and Charitable Objectives

Popular Types of Planned Gifts

By including VISTE in your will or living trust, you are ensuring that we can continue our mission for years to come.  A charitable gift from your estate is a favored method of giving that enables you to achieve your financial goals and benefit VISTE. You can designate either a specific dollar amount, a percentage, or a percentage of the remainder of your estate, once other disbursements are made.

Also, please consider informing VISTE if you have already included us, or once your plans are in place. By making us aware of your future gift, it provides us the opportunity to thank you during your lifetime, fulfill your intentions, and recognize your commitment to our mission.

Passionate about supporting VISTE’s mission even after your lifetime? It is not only possible, it's easy to do with a beneficiary designation. Name Volunteers in Service to the Elderly (VISTE) as a beneficiary to receive assets from these types of accounts/funds after you are gone:  retirement plans, bank or brokerage accounts, paid-up life insurance policy, or donor advised funds.  You simply fill out a form that is entirely separate from your will.  Not only is it an easy way to give, but it is also flexible—you aren't locked into the choices you make today. You can review and adjust beneficiary designations anytime.
