Meet Marijo Plott, VISTE’s Donor Relations Coordinator! Marijo began working at VISTE in 2024, and we are delighted to have her on the team! In addition to being a friendly resource for VISTE donors, Marijo also does gift posting, acknowledgement letters, and reconciliation, as well as providing support for special events and outreach activities.
Originally from East Texas, Marijo’s family moved to the Tampa area in 1994, where they lived for 25 years. Marijo and her family eventually relocated to Lakeland, and recently moved to Lake Alfred. Her husband, Nick, works in healthcare administration. They have three children age 6 to 14 who attend Victory Christian Academy.
Marijo has an active schedule outside of work, transporting her children to and from school and extracurricular activities, accompanying Nick to corporate events, and visiting Disney parks with her family, a favorite activity. Her father recently retired Baptist pastor, and fun fact – her mother is a former East Texas Pecan Queen!
In her spare time, Marijo enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is also active in the local Juvenile Diabetes Association.
