Fall is a time of thanksgiving, and we want to take this opportunity to express gratitude for your ongoing compassion, care, and generosity toward our elderly neighbors in need. That is particularly true this fall as we prepare to celebrate VISTE’s 40th Anniversary!
VISTE was founded in 1983 by a small group of volunteers in response to a growing need for transportation assistance. Since that time, thousands of people have actively engaged in our mission to help seniors remain safe and independent in their own homes. Even more ambitiously, VISTE is not a Federally funded program and does not charge for the variety of services now provided. Since there is no other VISTE on the planet, we are extremely grateful to live in a community that actively supports and sustains this life-affirming work. We especially owe a debt of gratitude to the founders, pioneers, and trail blazers that have paved the way over the past 39 years.
In this newsletter we honor those who have laid a firm foundation upon which we continue to build; invite you to participate in upcoming campaigns and events; and look forward to celebrating a milestone year ahead. In reliance on your faithful support, we also set our sights on continuing this legacy for the next 40 years of service to seniors in need.
Forward together!
