As the new Volunteer and Events Manager, I would like to invite you to participate in VISTE’s upcoming volunteer opportunities! This time of year is exciting as we have holiday deliveries for VISTE clients available, including Thanksgiving meals on Wednesday, November 22, Holiday Personal Care Boxes starting December 4, and Christmas gifts starting December 15.
These are all fun-filled volunteer activities that you can do individually, as a group, or with your family, including children. VISTE clients are always so appreciative of the deliveries, and the smiles you receive in return will warm your heart.
VISTE also has activities to assist in the preparation of these holiday opportunities, such as the family-friendly “Bean Snap” event on November 20 and the Thanksgiving bag decoration, as well as phone calls to clients.
